I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and an even better New Year with many more Minimally Invasive (Miami Method) Valve Surgeries.  This is just the beginning!!!!!  Minimally invasive surgery was in fashion in the mid to late 90’s, but it is reality in the 2000’s…. We need to embrace the technique, advance the specialty, be competitive in the environment, show the world that the surgical minimally  invasive valve surgery is here to stay,  deliver the best quality of care to our patients, with the latest and greatest techniques, procedures, exposure devices and instruments. We are slowly, unconsciously, submissively, passively,unforgivably,and even deliberately giving our specialty away.  Let’s gain control and show our patients that the surgical minimally invasive valve surgery is a strong and viable option and is here to stay for the New Year and many more to come.
