Try to do a Sternotomy on this patient ! KYPHOSIS

A sternotomy on this patient would have been almost impossible and the risk of a sternal wound infection high!  Look at the pillows and blankets that were required to support his head.  He was turned down by several surgeons.  He had a successful minimally invasive AVR and had an uneventful recovery.  A mini-thoracotomy AVR saved the day and the patient again!DSCN7587DSCN7582 DSCN7583
